“The PR Wheel” is a concept shared by Kevin Bang of CF Distinction

 

This concept is a continuing cycle of practice, progress, proficiency. You want to focus your energy on this concept to achieve proficiency instead of focusing on perfection.

 

Practice:

-Pick a movement that you want to improve

-Video your movement

-Ask for feedback from a coach

-Develop a strategy to focus on technique through progressions

 

Progress:

-Document your progress with videos, journaling, and coaching assessments

-Continue to Practice while upping the intensity of the movements

 

Proficiency:

-Compare your current state of Proficiency to your past Progress

-Continue to fine tune the elements developed through your Progress
